Full Job Description

Part-time post x 2 of 22.5 hours over 3 days, 10 am till 6 pm.
The Children and Young People's Department is seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated Clerical Support Officer/Receptionist to complement our current reception and clerical team within the Paediatric medical stream of the department.
Our team is friendly, motivated, and committed to providing our patients with high-quality, expert emergency services. Not only is the efficient running of the reception and the clerical services integral to the patient's journey, but it is also often the patient's and relatives' first point of contact in the department.
Candidates should have worked in a clerical / administration environment and have used a patient administration system. Good communication skills, effective keyboard skills and the ability to organise workload are essential criteria for the post.

General office duties including photocopying, faxing, filing and retrieving notes from file or the database
Photocopying appointments, referral notes, under 5 notes and fracture clinics
Deal efficiently with incoming and outgoing mail
Dispose of records in appropriate containers
Sort and send letters to General Practitioners
Any other general duties as required
