Full Job Description
- Deliver the production of high precision components to meet the required customer specification
- Maintain safe operation of machine tools and all other related equipment
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player, Responsibilities outlined below are not exclusive, but there is an expectation you will operate a variety of machine tools such as; computer numerical code (CNC), lathes, milling machines, precision grinders, and welders
- Siemens Programming experience is advantageous
- Good understanding of turning, setting and operating
- Knowledge of turn/mill desirable
- Undertake route cause analysis for problem solving
- Multi-task across multiple machine tools and manufacturing areas
- Act as a role model and mentor peers and apprentices as required by the business area
- Support and participate continuous improvement activities
- Carry out 6s activities in line with business area requirements
- To undertake and maintain all training in your core role and linked disciplines
- Compliance with necessary procedures in the execution of the role
- Participate in task review planning activities and route card generation where required.
- Contribute to the drafting of safety and operational documentation as required by the business area
