Full Job Description

  • Deliver the production of high precision components to meet the required customer specification

  • Maintain safe operation of machine tools and all other related equipment

  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player, Responsibilities outlined below are not exclusive, but there is an expectation you will operate a variety of machine tools such as; computer numerical code (CNC), lathes, milling machines, precision grinders, and welders

  • Siemens Programming experience is advantageous

  • Good understanding of turning, setting and operating

  • Knowledge of turn/mill desirable

  • Undertake route cause analysis for problem solving

  • Multi-task across multiple machine tools and manufacturing areas

  • Act as a role model and mentor peers and apprentices as required by the business area

  • Support and participate continuous improvement activities

  • Carry out 6s activities in line with business area requirements

  • To undertake and maintain all training in your core role and linked disciplines

  • Compliance with necessary procedures in the execution of the role

  • Participate in task review planning activities and route card generation where required.

  • Contribute to the drafting of safety and operational documentation as required by the business area


  • Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for this role.

    Package - 27,420 - 39,060 dependant on skills and experience plus allowances
