Full Job Description

If you have the passion and drive to support children and young people with their mental health through early intervention then this could be the job for you. There is an exiting opportunity for you to lead a Mental Health Support Team as one of our Clinical Team Leaders.

The Clinical Team Leader role will manage and take overall clinical and operational responsibility and oversight for care quality performance and clinical activity by providing professional leadership and guidance, clinical advice and management in relation to the key dimensions of health care quality to ensure that interventions delivered by the team are safe, effective and meet the needs of individuals, families and communities in line with local and national development plans, Trust policies and procedures, This will include providing clinical supervision, clinical and quality assurance and line management of locality teams. The role will be working alongside key external stakeholders and developing relationships between the MHST and educational settings. In addition, Clinical Team Leaders will be involved in the delivery of our service offer, where appropriate, which will support in clinical and quality governance and ensuring the needs of CYP are met. This includes responsibility for the coordination of services and to promote optimum health, self-management and effective liaison between agencies and ensuring that a personalised service to clients/service users is delivered in accordance with LPT Trust standards.

As Clinical Team Leader you will also manage a your own case load delivering early intervention to young people, including complex cases and mental health assessments.
