Full Job Description

We are seeking a Clerk to join our team in an administrative capacity. The ideal candidate will be highly self motivated, organised, confident in keeping accounts, working to deadlines and able to interpret and follow regulations.

Duties:
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- issue agendas and take minutes for monthly meetings
- maintain our website and Facebook page
- act as the RFO Responsible Financial Officer for the council, keeping accounts, making payments and reclaiming VAT.
- Conduct basic administrative tasks to support the team
- Type and computerise documents accurately
- Organise files and records for easy retrieval
- also act as secretary to our playing field association and Burials Officer
- Carry out data entry duties with precision

Proficient in clerical duties and office procedures
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with Google Suite for office productivity
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Competent in computerised tasks
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping functions
- Experience in data entry with a focus on accuracy
