Cleaner

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented and take pride in their work.

• Organise and ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard whilst causing minimal disruption to tenants of St Andrews Business Centre, employees and visitors to P&A premises.


• Responsible for securing all areas of work at the beginning and end of your shift according to accepted procedure and maintaining confidentiality of information.


• Ensure you organise your work areas and have the correct tools and sufficient supply of cleaning products available in order to carry out your duties efficiently in the time available. Request replacements from the Housekeeping Supervisor in a timely fashion.


Execute general cleaning duties in your area of work according to set standards, to include but not exclusively:

• Regularly cleaning all toilet and washroom areas and replenish toiletries and paper goods


• Remove dirty marks on wall tiling and mirrors


• Cleaning internal glass, internal and external door glass ensuring you working within safe limits


• Empty and clean waste bins and remove waste to designated areas


• Work cooperatively with team members to promote a positive working environment, effective team work and an attitude of continuous improvement.


• Ensure that you work safely and within Health and Safety guidelines, particularly when working at height and using detergent.


• Report any defects or potential hazards immediately to the Manager of the department in which the hazard is located and record appropriately.


• Be prepared to work in other areas of the business from time to time to cover absence and meet the demands of the business.
  
  Previous experience in cleaning is preferred but not required


• Strong attention to detail to ensure excellent levels of cleanliness are maintained


• Valid driver's license is a plus
