Caravan Technician

The building of our brand new 12 bay workshop is well underway. Each bay has it's own mechanical ramp, and is purpose built for the repair and servicing of caravans and motorhomes. We are therefore recruiting Technicians to join our busy team.

Working Monday to Friday, 8.30 until 5.30 pm in the summer, and from 8.30am until 5pm in the winter. Each working day has a thirty minute lunch, and two-fifteen minute breaks within the day.

The day to day job role includes:

• Following a job card instruction to effectively undertake work on leisure vehicles


• Identify opportunities for problem solving


• Carry out leisure vehicle services, including gas & electrical safety checks, in line with the AWS NCC Workshop Scheme Carry out repairs and inspections to a high standard


• Complete Job Cards with information of work and activities undertaken, in a way that can be understood by a customer and is appropriate for a customer to view, as the work is in progress


• Utilise software provided to you, to inform customers of required work, provide accurate estimates of hours and parts required, accurately log your time and update job cards.


• Complete the NCC Service sheets & gas sheets with the required information, in a way that is professional and can be understood by a customer


• Accurately log your time for the working day


• Accurately log the parts used on the job, on the job card, in an electronic format.


• Follow the parts and parts return process.


• Be willing to attend training courses to continue to develop knowledge and understanding


• Work within the Health & Safety Guidelines Treat customer's leisure vehicles with care and respect.
  
  · Have a good level of common sense, care and attention


· Full, clean, UK driving license

· Experience in the repair and servicing of caravans, preferably either part or fully qualified as a Caravan Technician, by the NCC's AWS programme.

· Good team ethic.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
