As a Business Development + Sales Executive, your pivotal role involves driving growth and nurturing strong client relationships within our organisation. This multifaceted position spans various domains, including but not limited to Solar, Electric Vehicles (EV), LED technology, Electrical Contracting, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and Test and Inspection., · Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling.

· Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

· Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.

· Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities in the solar installations sector.

· Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to key decision-makers in potential client organisations.

· Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, ensuring favourable terms for both parties.

· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes and advantageous terms.

· Research and identify relevant tenders in the solar installations market, and actively pursue opportunities.

· Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to track progress and inform strategic decisions.

· Utilise exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust and rapport with clients.

· Leverage strong negotiation prowess to secure advantageous deals and contracts.

As a persuasive communicator, you will prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to key decision-makers, negotiate contracts, research tenders, and ultimately close deals. Regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline development, and forecasts will guide strategic decisions.

Experience

· UK Driving Licence (essential) - No more than 6 points.

· Proven track record in business development or sales role.

· Strong knowledge of industry trends and technologies.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

· Strong negotiation and closing skills.

· Must have Solar / Electrical Experience.,

  • Business development: 3 years (preferred)

  • B2B sales: 2 years (preferred)

  • Renewable Energy (Solar PV, EV, Battery Storage): 2 years (required)

    · Pay based on age/experience (salary from £38,000 - £50,000 per year)


  • · Bonus + Commission.

    · Normal working pattern Monday to Friday but evening / weekend work will occasionally be required.

    · Overnight stays maybe required depending on location of work and will include an overnight allowance.

    · 28 Days Holiday (Inclusive of Bank Holidays) + an extra day for your Birthday.
