Full Job Description
- To increase profitable sales by researching, identifying, and prospecting new customers as part of the Outbound Calls Team.
- To build and cultivate strong relationships with customers, providing an excellent level of customer service.
- To effectively negotiate deals and contracts with customers to achieve individual and group sales targets through successfully promoting our products and services.
- To actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, utilising the results of marketing initiatives & email campaigns, Glenigan's and similar resources, and social media such as LinkedIn etc.
- To prospect new clients through utilising your existing network.
- To use your industry expertise to develop new accounts for hire and sales opportunities.
- To handle sales calls, ascertaining what the customer needs and advising them of how the Company can deliver to this specification.
- To generate quotations for customers through following them up and upselling when necessary to track the sale and close the deal.
- To manage and update leads/activities to maintain accurate records of your communications with customers to which you can be held accountable.
- To manage the accounts of new customers to the point that they can be transferred to appropriate account managers within agreed timescales, ensuring that you consolidate these relationships through providing excellent customer service.
- To regularly review your own sales performance in line with monthly and annual targets, striving to meet these wherever possible.
- To build and maintain excellent customer relationships, ensuring that you communicate with them with full transparency and accuracy.
- To achieve set KPIs and sales targets within required timescales with a focus on continually improving your performance and identifying opportunities for self-development.
- To maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with a view to tracking the progress of sales, assuming responsibility for the delivery and conclusion of sales.
- To proactively network and collaborate with third parties through different communication channels with a view to engaging new customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
