Full Job Description

Base: North West - Home based hybrid working, with potential national travel as required by the business. Working 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday



Working with us as a Business Development Manager, you'll know that what you do really matters to our business as your role is fundamental to our success. You will work alongside the Operations and Bid teams to secure future tender opportunities with existing, lapsed and new clients, within the Interiors sector including Healthcare and Education refurbishments and Fast Track works within Hotels and Retail.

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, we are flexible on your start and finish times, the main focus is ensuring you deliver rather than working at standard 9-5pm.,

  • Growing existing relationships and developing new opportunities within the interiors business function

  • Focus on delivery of strategic growth and development to enable us to win new business.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities that are aligned to strategic targets.

  • Work closely and communicate effectively with the work winning and operational teams to identify & target prospective clients. Whilst supporting to ensure that tenders are aligned to client drivers.

  • Present a professional image of the business to new and existing clients.

  • Ensure that all administrative tasks, reporting and recording on the CRM system, are completed and submitted to a high standard within timescales.

  • Attend and participate in Regional/National BD meetings, networking events and seminars, driving brand awareness where required.

  • Maintain a strong awareness of competitor activity as well as changes within our key markets.

    You will have experience of working as a Business Development Manager, ideally withinthe Healthcare/Education sector, but this is not essential, we will teach you everything you need to know about what and how we do what we do, your relationship development skills are the essential part to your success in this role., As a Business Development Manager you will need well established stakeholder and relationship management skills and therefore a very strong communicator with excellent organisation skills is essential. The role would also suit a Key Account or Framework Manager with transferable skills.
