Full Job Description

As an Associate Manager for Category Analytics _38_ Insights, your role is to help our Learning _38_ Development segment grow through analysing data, identifying insights, preparing reports, and making recommendations to leaders.

You will work with brands like Parker, Sharpie, PaperMate, DYMO, NUK, Baby Jogger and others.
You

  • ll regularly collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain, applying Shopper Insights to drive data-informed decisions.


  • We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

    Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Regional Marketing to craft annual brand plans, ensuring cross-functional coherence.

  • Partner with brand marketing to adapt pricing and promotional policies into practical guidelines, obtaining consensus from essential business stakeholders.

  • Direct the commercial approach for new products, conducting market evaluations, trade impact forecasts, and establishing pricing and promotion boundaries.

  • Engage with sales and channel marketing teams to gather regional insights, feeding into the global innovation strategy for effective product introductions.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize data sources like IRI, Nielsen, or Kantar to conduct deep-dive analytics, offering strategic recommendations through category management.

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on category shifts and market movements, translating insights into strategic actions for the business.

  • Conduct new product launch assessments, providing critical feedback to refine business focus and enhance market positioning.

    Bachelors degree, preferably with a focus on business/marketing or a related field

  • Demonstrated experience in an international Consumer Goods company, with roles in any of the following areas: Category Management, Shopper Insights, Strategy, Marketing, Sales, or similar positions

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI or Tableau), and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

  • Familiarity with syndicated data and software (Nielsen/IRI, GFK, Consumer Panel etc.)

  • Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time.
