Full Job Description

As an Assistant Manager (Real Assets), you will join a growing team providing a full suite of fund accounting and financial reporting services to our Real Estate fund clients. The purpose of this role is to account for a complex and varied portfolio of fund structures in conjunction with the Associate Director or Director.

In your first few weeks in this Assistant Manager (Real Assets) role, you can expect to:

  • Prepare and review more complex management and statutory accounts

  • Review complex NAV and NAV per share calculations

  • Review more complex fund capital calls and distributions

  • Manage the audit process, maintenance of audit files and communication/liaison with auditors for portfolio clients

  • Liaise and act as the day-to-day contact with the fund managers and other external parties on a portfolio of clients

  • Attend board meetings and present financial information

    An ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA qualification or equivalent

  • Substantial fund accounting experience, preferably within Real Estate or Private Equity in a professional services environment

  • People management experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
