Are you a school leaver (or will you be completing school education in the coming months) but not sure what to do next?

If you have an interest in construction and engineering and an ambition to start your career in Building Surveying then join us for an apprenticeship at our Bury St Edmunds office!

This exciting role will give you the opportunity to learn and earn as we support you in developing your knowledge in Building Surveying. With the guidance of wider senior leadership, you'll assist with site inspections with our senior surveyors to gain knowledge of different building construction forms and details. We will support you through your time with us by further helping you develop your business, behavioural and technical skills.
You will study the Level 6 Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship (Building Surveying) at a nominated university. The course will allow you to develop your skills and knowledge to be successful in the Building Surveying industry. Successful completion of this course will enable you to become a RICS accredited chartered surveyor.

About You

Our ideal apprentice must have:

  • An interest in construction/surveying/engineering.

  • At least 4 x GCSEs including Math's and English at Grade C/4 or above, Functional Skills or ESFA-approved equivalents

  • Evidence of at least 112 UCAS Tariff Points at Level 3 e.g. A Levels, BTEC National Diploma (or equivalent)

  • Experience of working to deadlines

  • The ability to work well in a team environment


  • It would be nice for you to have:
  • Motivation to progress onto further qualifications to continuously professionally develop.

  • The ability to think methodically and innovative

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
