Activity Leader - Part Time

We are recruiting party hosts to join our growing and ambitious team at Sporty Stars. We deliver a range of children's parties and adult events throughout the year. The majority of our work is delivered on the weekends. With occasional events during the week and school holidays if available for extra work.

Our activities include: Bubble Football, Nerf Wars, Archery Tag, Bouncy Castles, Glow in the Dark Sports, Sports and more.

We feel this role would be perfect for someone with a full time / part-time job or studying, looking for extra income. Full training on activities will be provided, with certificates and courses available to successful applicants. Weekend availability is key and work is offered on a job to job basis, at least 2 weeks in advance.

Our events are predominately in Exeter, East Devon and Torbay, however we do also provide events across the South West and ask applicants are open to both. Travel expenses and extra pay are available for events outside of Exeter, East Devon and Torbay.

Have a great personality and characteristics that lend themselves to working with children;

· Full of enthusiasm and energy

· An ability to communicate with confidence

· Speak in a manner that is appropriate for working with children

Excellent knowledge and hold qualifications of sports coaching, which should include;

· First Aid Certificate

· Able to pass an Enhanced DBS Check and be deemed safe to work with children

· Experience and knowledge of working with children and young people

· Competent in literacy and numeracy

Competency to perform at a consistently high standard;

· Able to follow a range of session plans

· Be reliable and have good timekeeping

· Be confident in delivering instructions and information

· Ability to set up and deliver high-quality sports provision to children and young people

· Available on the weekends

· Driving license and access to a car is a must to travel to events and take equipment with you.
