Full Job Description

We have fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Account Manager / Account Handler to join our team located in London. This is the perfect role for someone with a strong background in commercial insurance, having worked in a Handler or Broker type role or within the Commercial Claims sector, looking to move into a new and exciting role within an established, market leading insurance broker.

  • To build and maintain an excellent rapport with our clients, providers and colleagues across the Group., Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and managing contract reviews and midterm changes.


  • Strive to meet sales goals by partnering with Account Executives


  • Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.


  • Manage all day-to-day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments.


  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.


  • Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.


  • Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market conditions and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.

    Strong business development skills

  • Commercial insurance knowledge across a broad range of products or experience within other areas of insurance, i.e. Contingency and PPL (Products and public liability insurance)

  • Experience in policy document drafting


  • Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment


  • Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities.
