7.5 Tonne - HGV Delivery Driver

Are you a motivated and responsible HGV Delivery Driver (7.5 tonne) looking for an exciting opportunity? Join Salvo 1968, an Italian food wholesaler based in Trafford Park, and be a part of our dedicated team.,

• Safely handle and deliver Salvo's goods.


• Conduct vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift.


• Use a tablet to record deliveries (where applicable).


• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including CPC Card and tachograph usage.


• Secure and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.


• Follow safety guidelines, including PPE usage.


• Adhere to speed and weight limits.


• Perform daily vehicle refueling.


• Report any incidents promptly to the Transport office.


• Maintain adherence to EU driving hours and Working Time Directive.


• Complete necessary paperwork accurately.


• Act as a representative of the Salvo brand and provide excellent customer service.
  
  Clean relevant drivers' licence


• Able to comfortably carry heavy loads, within guidelines


• Highly motivated with a positive, can-do, and flexible attitude


• Able to work with speed and urgency, whilst maintaining safety


• Team player with a professional and personable approach to colleagues and customers


• Attention to detail
