7.5 tonne delivery driver

As a 7.5T Driver you will be responsible for the delivery of goods to customer sites in a timely, efficient and courteous manners. Acting as ambassadors for our business, excellent customer service skills are required.,

• Take responsibility for stacking any goods correctly in customer premises or on vehicle making sure that the weight is evenly distributed


• To ensure all work is manually documented prior to leaving the depot and report any problems to the Duty


• Manager or Upload all work to EPOD / PDA (Electronic proof of delivery) prior to leaving the depot and report any problems to Duty Manager


• Perform daily vehicle and load checks prior to leaving the depot


• Complete all delivery drops on your route before returning to depot


• Adhere to all H&S requirements, including manual handling of goods at all times, monitor working hours to ensure compliance with Working Time Directives (WTD) and Driving Time Directives (DTD)


• Ensure all paperwork for deliveries or returned goods are checked and signed off by a member of the Warehouse team
  
  Full and Clean UK Driving License (7.5Tonne/Class1) essential


• Experience of multi-drop work highly desirable but not essential


• Customer relation and communication skills


• Experience of working in a distribution or warehouse environment desirable but not essential


• Knowledge of H&S rules and regulations
